Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Budva
Arrive at Dubrovnik Airport and depart for Budva. Enjoy a guided tour of this charming coastal town before checking into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Perast, Kotor, and Cetinje
After breakfast, head to Perast, a historic fishing village with impressive fortifications. Take a boat ride to visit the Church of Our Lady of Škrpjela on an artificial island. Continue to Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to explore its historic center and the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. After lunch, travel to Cetinje, the former capital of the Kingdom of Zeta, to visit the palace of King Nikola I. Return to Budva for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Shkodra, Kruja, and Tirana
Enjoy breakfast before traveling to Shkodra, a city rich in history. Visit the ancient Rožafa Fortress before heading to Kruja for lunch. Explore the Kruja Bazaar and the Skanderbeg Museum, then continue to Tirana for accommodation and dinner.

Day 4: Discovering Tirana
Have breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a guided tour of Tirana. Visit Skanderbeg Square, Ethem Bey Mosque, and the National Museum. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Durrës, where you’ll visit the archaeological museum and amphitheater. Dinner and overnight stay in Durrës.

Day 5: Berat and Ohrid
After breakfast, travel to Berat, known as the “City of a Thousand Windows.” Visit the Mangalem Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before enjoying lunch in the old town. Depart for Ohrid, crossing the Albania-Macedonia border, with dinner and overnight stay in Ohrid.

Day 6: Exploring Ohrid and Bitola
Start your day with breakfast, then visit Ohrid, another UNESCO site, to explore the Cathedral of St. Sophia and the icon gallery. Enjoy lunch at the fortress before visiting the monastery of St. Neum. Afterward, transfer to Bitola for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Bitola to Skopje
Have breakfast, then depart for Heraclea Lyncestis, founded by Philip II of Macedonia. Explore the archaeological site known for its stunning mosaics and amphitheater. Continue to Skopje for lunch and visit the Monastery of St. Pantaleimon, famous for its twelfth-century frescoes. Dinner and overnight stay in Skopje.

Day 8: Departure from Skopje
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before visiting the Macedonian Museum. Transfer to Skopje Airport for your departure.
